Nan was a rock of the ballet community on the south shore, where she, among many other accomplishments, founded Children’s Ballet Workshop on the South Shore in 1972.
Nan was also a very special part of my life, as both a mentor and a friend. She was an important inspiration behind the founding of South Shore Ballet Theatre, where she served as Senior Ballet Faculty for several years and upon her retirement, as Faculty Emeritus.
I know that I am not alone when I say that I cannot think about ballet in my life without thinking of Nan. For me, it always went hand in hand. She has touched so many lives in our community and she will be dearly missed.
Our hearts go out to Nan’s family and friends.
With a heavy heart,
