Olivia Hansen is from Cohasset, Massachussetts and started her ballet training with South Shore Ballet Theatre under the direction of Marthavan McKeon in 2010. At age 16, she began privately training with George Birkadze while also attending the Pre-professional program at Integrarte directed by Erica Cornejo and Carlos Molina. She then was given the opportunity to train with Perm Ballet School graduate Katya Strelnakova privately before joining The Brookline Ballet School’s Pre-professional training program under the direction of Trinidad Vives in 2018. In the summer of 2019, Olivia attended the School of Washington Ballet’s summer intensive in Washington D.C. where she was invited to stay for the year-round professional training division under the direction of Julie Kent and Xiomara Reyes. Olivia is now a trainee with United Ballet Theatre in Orlando, Florida under the direction of Joseph Gatti and continues to train with teachers George Birkadze and Ashley Ellis.
