Our Programs

Discover the beauty of dance at South Shore Ballet Theatre. Our programs span all ages from 5 years through adult.

Young Dancers

Ages 5 - 7

The Young Dancers Program introduces our youngest students to ballet training and establishes a lifelong love of dance.

Classical

Ages 7 - 18

The Classical Ballet Program is a comprehensive curriculum designed to offer strong classical ballet training for SSBT’s recreational students.

Intensive

Ages 8 - 18

The Intensive Ballet Program is specifically designed to prepare students to advance to SSBT’s Pre-Professional Program.

Pre Professional

Ages 12 – 18

The Pre-Professional Program is a rigorous program designed to meet the needs of highly-dedicated students who intend to pursue college-level conservatory training and/or careers in professional ballet.

Electives

Ages 7 - 18

Students of SSBT’s Classical Ballet, Intensive Ballet, and Pre-Professional Programs have the opportunity to augment their training with a diverse range of enhancement classes taught by members of SSBT’s faculty.

Boys & Mens

Ages 8 - 18

This specialized training option provides SSBT’s male students with the opportunity to develop their technique with an emphasis on the requirements for male dancers.

Adult

SBT faculty provides a positive, encouraging environment in which adults may revisit the beaty of ballet or experience the joy of music and movement for the first time.
